Mary George Costley

Mary George Costley, 90, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at Pine Knoll Nursing Home in Carrollton. Mrs. Costley was born April 19, 1918 in Floyd County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Sherman and Edna Robinson George. Mrs. George retired from the textile mill where she worked as a seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Prue Wilson Costley; brother, Melvin George; and sisters, Jewell Ridley, Vera Vineyard, Hazel Street, and her twin, Martha Blair. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. David George and Rev. Ron Street officiating. Interment will follow at Powell Chapel Cemetery in Villa Rica.
