Grace Washington Bishop Guyton Mrs. Mary Grace Washington Bishop Guyton, age 80, of Carrollton passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. She was born October 22, 1930 the daughter of the late Mr. James Lester Washington and the late Mrs. Ruby Kate Lovin Washington. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the father of her children, R.V. Bishop; brothers, James L. “George” Washington, John William Washington, Wendell Leon “Peanut” Washington, Bobby Larry Washington; sister, Hildereth Earline Washington Elsberry. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Sue Clayton of Carrollton; sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Peggy Bishop of Wedowee, Al., Waymond L. Bishop, Sr. and Tammy King of Mt. Zion; sister, Judy Washington Holtzclaw of Douglasville; brothers, Harold Washington of Villa Rica, Ronnie Washington of Douglasville; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, September 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Neal Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, James Todd Bishop, Waymond L. Bishop, Jr., Robby Washington, Harold Watkins, Ricky Bishop, and Chris Oehler. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
