Mary Josephine Wheeler Tolbert

Mrs. Mary Josephine Wheeler Tolbert, 79, of W. Hickory Level Road, Temple, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at her home. She was born April 12, 1928 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Bennie Leroy Wheeler and the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Bentley Wheeler. She married Charles Thomas Tolbert on October 16, 1953. She was of the Baptist Faith and retired from Villa Rica Hosiery Mill following 38 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Tolbert; sisters, Flora Summerville and Ida Bell Wheeler. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Jackie Wilkey of Temple; 3 grandchildren, Christie and Ronny Chambers, II of Bowdon, Heath McBrayer of Temple and Tommy McBrayer of Hiram; 2 great-grandchildren, Chase Swafford and Aaron Chambers; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Thornton and Rev. Jason Spray officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Danny Rutledge, Gerald Henry, Dale Sumner, Tommy King, Matt Street, and Dr. Warlito Rollolazo. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Thursday, January 17, 2008 beginning at 10:00 AM. Messages of condolences to the family may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com.
