Mrs. Mary Lee Mays, 88, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at her residence. She was born August 17, 1918 in Birmingham, AL the daughter of the late John Thomas and the late Mrs. Larcenia Chatman Riley. She was a member of Soul Saving Station of Every Nation and served as a missionary. She worked as a hospital dietician. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Grady Mays and her siblings, Precious Riley Dunn, Chapman Riley, Smith Riley and Gratz Brown Riley, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Ruby Aleem-Merritt of Douglasville; two sisters, Dora Riley Montgomery of Cincinnati, OH and Emily Riley Spencer of Walnut Hills, CA; one brother, Homer Riley of San Francisco, CA; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Sterling-McCullough-Williams Funeral Home in Youngstown, Ohio with interment following at Todd-Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.
