Mary Renee Moore

Sep 14, 1962 — Jul 5, 2026

Mary Renee Aumick Moore, 63, of Douglasville, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026. She was born on September 14, 1962, in Pensacola, Florida to Nelda Finch Aumick and the late James Joseph Aumick.

Renee pursued her education with dedication, earning an associate degree that set the foundation for her many personal and professional endeavors. Her interests were broad and reflected her deeply creative nature—she was an avid crafter whose handiwork brought joy to many, an enthusiastic reader who found peace and adventure within the pages of books, and a passionate music lover with a song for every moment.

Animals found a true friend in Renee, whose love and compassion for them was readily apparent to all who knew her. She was remarkably family-oriented and poured herself into the roles she cherished most: known affectionately as Mommy, Mom, Aunt Nae, Gigi Nae, and Naebo, she built strong, nurturing bonds with those she loved. Renee’s softness, kindness, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on her family, friends, and the broader community.

In addition to her father, she is proceeded in death by brother-in-law Steve Bryan and nephew Matthew Bryan.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her daughter Jessica Moore; son Jimmy Moore; sisters Debbie Jordan and Mindy Bryan; nephews Earle Jordan (Allison) and Sean Bryan (Carol); three great-nephews, and three great-nieces.

Those who knew Renee will remember her as a giver, always generous with her time, affection, and talents. Her presence was gentle and uplifting, her laughter infectious, and her empathy a source of solace to many.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the legacy that Renee leaves behind—a legacy of love, devotion, and kindness that will live on through the many lives she touched.
