Mary Gold Moser, 93, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026. She was born in Millville, New Jersey, on October 31, 1932, the daughter of the late John J. Jones, Sr. and the late Rebecca Mounce Jones.

Mary exemplified a life rich in love, faith, and culinary artistry.

Cooking was more than just a daily task for Mary; it was a profound expression of her love for her family. Known as the "Queen of cream cheese," her culinary skills were unmatched, and her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of her beloved recipes. Friends and family alike delighted in her creations, and many fondly remember the warmth and joy that her meals brought to gatherings.

A tremendous cook and a prayer warrior, Mary was a faithful woman of God who dedicated her life to her faith and her family. She was the driving force behind her loved ones, always sacrificing her own needs to ensure their happiness and well-being. Her passion for family was palpable, and her sweet demeanor won the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.

Mary wholeheartedly embraced the gift of hospitality, welcoming friends and family into her home with open arms and a generous spirit. Whether it was sharing a meal or simply enjoying moments of connection, she created an atmosphere imbued with warmth and love. Together with her devotion to her family, her love for the Lord, studying the Word, and engaging in crafts and gardening reflected the multifaceted beauty of her character.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of seventy-two years of marriage, Hans Gunther Moser; siblings, John J. Jones, Jr., Ernest Jones, Llewellyn Jones, and Rebecca C. Neal.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Darden) Hamilton of Villa Rica, GA, Diana (Jesse) Loftis of Godfrey, IL and Karin Adams of Douglasville, GA; sister-in-law, Lynnette Jones of IL; eight grandchildren, Matthew (Rhonda) Adams, Stephen Adams, Samuel (Candace) Adams, Christopher Hamilton, Elijah (Stacey) Hamilton, Jason (Sadaf) Loftis, Jeremy (Stephanie) Loftis, and Amy Loftis; and eighteen great grandchildren, Jacob Adams, Gabriella Adams, Sophie Adams, Walker Adams, Ethan Adams, MacKenzie Keen, Willow Adams, Cody Loftis, Cameron Loftis, Caitlyn Loftis, Serenity Loftis, Reyna Loftis, Brantley Loftis, Peyton Krohn, Julianna Snell, Taylor Hamilton, TJ McClarty, and Hannah McClarty; and three great great grandchildren, Ivy Besenger, Dayan Loftis and Baby Loftis.

The family will receive family and friends on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel with Pastor Dave Divine officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunrise Gardens of Memories in Douglasville, GA.
