Mary Newell Orr

Mrs. Mary Newell Orr, age 87, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008. She was born September 15, 1921 in Charlotte, North Carolina the daughter of the late Mr. William Clifton Newell and the late Mrs. Mary Evelyn Culton Newell. She was of the Presbyterian Faith. She worked as a travel agent. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her children, Rebecca Conlon and James Latta Orr; and sister, Delucia “Dink” Koiner. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan Rork and John Zalusky of Lusby, MD; her son, William Orr of Douglasville, GA; sister, Betsy Jordan of Waynesboro, VA; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Newell Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Charlotte, North Carolina with Reverend Brad Busiek officiating.
