Mary Robinson

Mrs. Mary Frances Haynes Robinson, age 83, of formerly of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Calhoun Healthcare Center following an extended illness. She was born May 3, 1928 in Villa Rica, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. William Randall Haynes and the late Mrs. Vara Lee Haynes. She was a member of Living Waters Chapel in Douglasville and retired as an interior designer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Robinson, Sr.; sisters, Inez Freeman, Melba Bowen, and Barbara Debick. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Keith Davis of Adairsville, and Denise and David Adams of Whitebluff, TN; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Faye and James McCollum of Jonesboro and Lynn and R.D. Vanderslice of Rockwall, TN; stepson, James M. Robinson, Jr. of Shreveport Port, LA; brothers and sister-in-law, Leroy and Louise Haynes of Villa Rica and Edgar and Elizabeth Haynes of Sana Rosa, CA; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. D. Keith Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica with the following serving as pallbearers: Pete Debick, Eric Davis, Jason Haynes, Randy Bailey, Butch Reynolds, and James McCollum.
