Mary Frances Franklin Spurling

Mary Frances Franklin Spurling, 53, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on September 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love that will resonate through the hearts of her family and friends. She was born on September 24, 1971 to the late George Mack Franklin and Gladys Wood Carpenter Franklin.

Mary's gentle spirit and caring nature made her a beloved figure in her community. She cherished her relationships and was particularly devoted to her family. She loved watching crime shows, taking joy rides and working word searches.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Marynell Franklin; and brothers, George and Nick Franklin.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Paul, of Villa Rica. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Mary Bledsoe of Oklahoma and Janice Franklin of Anniston, Alabama; brother, Monroe Franklin of Anniston, Alabama; and niece, Debbie Thomason, of Oklahoma.

Mary's life will be celebrated during a memorial service that will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM at West End Church of God with Pastor Otis Graves officiating. Future inurnment will take place at Midway Memory Gardens in Talladega, Alabama.
