Mary Sue Couch Gordon

Mrs. Mary Sue Couch Gordon, age 65, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born January 8, 1945 in Douglas County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Floyd Couch and the late Mrs. Mary Tripp Couch. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Gordon, Sr. and her son, Chris Wade Gordon. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Lee “Tommy” Gordon, Jr. of Hogansville and Ricky Gordon; sisters, Angie Scroggins, Ethel Tripp, and Linda Douglas; brothers, Rupert P. Couch and Ralph Couch; granddaughter, Angela and Chris Walters; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be conducted Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 3:00 PM from Consolation Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton with Celebrant Glenn Gilmore officiating.
