Mrs. Mary Sue Garrison, age 75, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 02, 2011 at her residence. She was born November 11, 1935 in Ohatchee, AL the daughter of the late Mr. Hollis Shirley Woods and the late Mrs. Annie Louise King House Woods. She worked for Sutherlin Nissan as a Landscape Helper for many years. She loved gardening, fishing and most of all playing Bingo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Raymon Garrison. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Tony Wright of Sand Hill, sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Renee Johnson of Douglasville, Roger and Angie Tucker of Villa Rica, Mike and Teresa Johnson of Sand Hill, Jim Johnson of Sand Hill; step-sons, Guy Dewayne Garrison, Tommy Ray Garrison, Richard Eugene Garrison; eleven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and fifteen step-great-grandchildren; former husband, Melvin E. Johnson of Sand Hill; sister-in-law, Sandy Simpson of Alabama, Edna Upton of Douglasville; nieces, Charlotte Wells, Barbara Akins; nephews, Steve Smith, David Smith and Troy Upton; special bingo buddies, Dink and Gertie. Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Steve Tucker officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
