Mary Ann Taylor, age 90, passed away on May 4, 2024. She was born on January 24, 1934, in South Carolina, to the late Mr. Mayfield Copeland and the late Mrs. Leila Stone Copeland.
Mary was a beloved homemaker known for her loving nature. She was a devoted wife to her beloved late husband, James. Mary's family was at the center her world, and she took immense pride in her role as a mother to her sons, Bill Taylor and Ronnie Taylor.
One of Mary's greatest joys in life was being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She found endless happiness in spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was known for her kind heart, her love for animals - especially cats, and her talent for storytelling. She had a passion for collecting, especially antiques. Her family-oriented nature shone through in everything she did. In addition to caring for her loved ones, Mary found joy in simple pleasures like going to the lake and pampering herself by getting her hair done.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Taylor; sons, Bill Taylor and Ronnie Taylor.
Mary is survived by her caring grandchildren, Nicole Talamantes, Jimmy Taylor and his wife Kerrie; as well as her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Bri, Kaylee, Abi and Lindsay; and several nieces.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Private interment will take place at Sunrise Gardens of Memories.
