Mary Thaxton

Mrs. Mary Ethel Dykes Thaxton, 74, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, August 31, 2018. She was born October 31, 1943 in Florida the daughter of the late Mr. Walter Thomas Dykes and the late Mrs. Ruth Virginia Wright Dykes. She worked as a caretaker in the elderly care industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Walter David Dykes and sister, Josie Dykes. She is survived by seven sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Arely Thaxton of Douglasville, Scott and Michelle Thaxton of Muscadine, AL, Victor Thaxton of Douglasville, James Thaxton of Douglasville, Brad and Misti Thaxton of Muscadine, AL, Michael and Rachel Thaxton of Heflin, AL, and Nathan and Valarie Thaxton of Heflin, AL; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
