Master Andrew Bobby "Wilby" Kirkland

Master Andrew Bobby “Wilby” Kirkland, 5 months old, of North Helton Road, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the University of Alabama Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born June 19, 2005, in Cobb County, Georgia. He was the son of Charly Kirkland and Karen Smallwood Kirkland. Master Kirkland was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rose Marie Kirkland. Survivors include his parents, Karen Smallwood Kirkland and Charly Kirkland of Villa Rica; brothers, Sam Kirkland and Joseph Kirkland, both of Villa Rica; his maternal grandparents, Rev. Bobby and Mrs. Wylene Smallwood of Villa Rica; paternal grandfather, John Kirkland, Jr. of Villa Rica; and several aunts and uncles also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Liberty Baptist Church in Villa Rica with Joey Vaughan and Carol Rhodes officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Carol and Barbara Rhodes. Master Kirkland will lie in state at Liberty Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Saturday, December 3, 2005 from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will be Sunday, December 4, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Shank-Kirkland Cemetery in Summertown, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, December 2, 2005, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
