Matthew Alexander Lewis

Mr. Matthew Alexander Lewis, 17, went back to God on Saturday, November 10, 2007. He was born November 27, 1989 in New York City, New York. Matthew was a Senior at Lithia Springs High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He would have graduated this May as a board scholar with dual seals in Foreign Language and Business. Matthew loved sports and was active in Tennis, Football, and Baseball. He enjoyed trivia where he participated in Monday Night Trivia with close friends. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Jevonne Lewis of Douglasville, 2 brothers, Eric Wilson and Michael Wilson, Maternal Grandparents, Brenda Lewis and Shahid Abdul-Haqq, Uncle, Marshall Lewis, Cousin Calvin Lewis; aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Graveside Services and interment will be Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 3:00 PM until the funeral hour at 7:00.
