Matthew Huntley

Mr. Matthew Huntley, Jr., age 69, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was born July 28, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana the son of the late Mr. Matthew Huntley, Sr. and the late Mrs. Eleanor Buckley Huntley. He married Marlene Wright on September 2, 1967 in New Orleans. He was of the Catholic Faith and retired as a Claims Adjuster Manager from Ingram. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marlene Wright Huntley of Douglasville; daughters and a son-in-law, Maria and Johnny Hunt of Dallas, GA and Muriel Huntley of New Orleans, LA; son, Matthew Huntley, III of Mississippi; six grandchildren, Alani, Desmond, Cameron, Caeden, Caitlin, and Peyton; a host of nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be conducted Tuesday March 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Marie Goretti Catholic Church in New Orleans, LA. Messages of condolence to the family may be sent at www.jones-wynn.com.
