Mr. Matthew “Matt” Richard Link, age 41, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1968 in Battle Creek, Michigan. He married Ginger Nash on December 23, 1989 in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was a member of Temple First Baptist Church and worked as a manager at John Deere Landscapes in Douglasville. He loved sports and enjoyed coaching baseball, softball, and basketball. He enjoyed golfing and was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Link and brother, Steve Link. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ginger Nash Link of Villa Rica; daughter, Hayleigh Link of Villa Rica; son, Jourdan Link of Villa Rica; his mother, Mary Alice Link of Mansfield, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff Link of Mansfield, TX, Don Link of Ft. Worth, TX, John and Terry Link of Plano, TX, Joe Link of Mansfield, TX, Dave and Kathy Link of Arlington, TX; parents-in-law, Lynda and Kermit Lawrence of Villa Rica; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Boswell and Rev. Mark Haney, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica Monday, December 28, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
