Matthew Paul Strickland

Mr. Matthew "Matt" Paul Strickland, age 41 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was born October 2, 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Paul Lafayette Strickland and Mrs. Rose Marie Cantrell Tunstall. Mr. Strickland enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his uncle, Larry Strickland. Matthew is survived by his daughter, Kailyn Strickland of Helotes, Texas; sisters and brother-in-law's, Jennifer "Jenny" Strickland Tucker and Tim Tucker of Temple, Georgia, and Tammie Bruce and Derrick Bruce of Powder Springs, Georgia; nieces and nephew, Ashley, Aaden, Wyatt, Hollis, Jake, and Trent. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Friday, November 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Memorial Services will be conducted Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Mr. Steve Strickland officiating.
