Mattie Walker

Mrs. Mattie Irene Everidge Walker, age 91, of Bremen, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015. She was born in Polk County, GA the daughter of the late Mr. Richard McKeger Everidge and the late Mrs. Minnie Lee Brown Everidge. She worked for Sewell Plastic Company in Smyrna as an inspector for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Lee Walker; daughter, Brenda Walker; step-son, Hoyt Walker; brothers, Cecil Everidge, Wilburn Everidge and Clifford Everidge. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Bryan Armbrister of Woodstock, Judy Pless of Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Robin and Connie Walker of Temple, Danny Walker of Woodstock, Carl Walker of Temple, Jimmy and Jane Walker of Alabaster, AL, Franklin and Barbara Weaver of Rockmart, Charles and Nancy Weaver of Rockmart and Bennie and Jesse Lee Weaver of Rockmart; one sister, Lillian Wright of Villa Rica; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Mr. Justin McTeer officiating.
