Maurice Leever

Mr. Maurice “Mo” Lynn Leever, age 74, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015. He was born March 8, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Mr. Lester Lynn Leever and the late Mrs. Talitha Lawhorn. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a supervisor for Ralston and Purina Corporation. He enjoyed traveling and enjoyed trains, cars and boat shows. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying boating, skiing and playing golf. He had a talent for fixing anything, often helping his friends and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Leever. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Desiree Leever and Allen Smoak of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Charlie Edmondson of Kentucky; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
