Mavis Brookshire

Ms. Mavis Faye Brookshire, age 87 of Douglasville passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019. She was born October 14, 1931, the daughter of the late Mr. Noah Tyler and the late Mrs. Kathleen Rich Tyler.She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Brookshire; brothers, James Edward Tyler, Adrian Tyler.She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Brenda Isbell of Douglasville; step-daughters and son-in-law, Betty Jo and Mike Harmon of Moreland and Judy Crane; sister, Clara Ratchford of Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Louann Tyler of Kentucky, two grandchildren, Tal and Tina Isbell of Atlanta and Brian Isbell of Douglasville; one great grandchild, Christian Isbell, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM. at Childersburg Cemetery; Highway 280; Childersburg, Alabama.Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
