Mavis Freeman

Mrs. Mavis Lackey Freeman, age 68, of Hiram, passed away, Wednesday, May 31, 2017. She was born August 7, 1948 in Ft. Payne, AL the daughter of the late Mr. William Lackey and the late Mrs. Janie Faulkner Smith. She was Registered Nurse at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Jarrett Freeman; daughter, Ramona Freeman; brother, Norman Smith; step-father, Woodrow Smith.She is survived by her daughters, Beth Freeman of Villa Rica, Marlena Freeman of Carrollton; sisters, Jane Taylor of Villa Rica; Janice Steele of Hiram; brothers, Grady Lackey of Hiram, Robert Smith of Temple; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several step-siblings, nieces and nephews.
