Mr. Max Pruett, age 57, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013. He was born October 5, 1955 in Paulding County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. George Ernest Pruett and the late Mrs. Lola Clide Parson Pruett. Mr. Pruett worked for Atlantic Steel for eighteen years and later worked for Amerigas Propane for thirteen years. He was a Christian, was baptized at the Callie Harbin Baptist Church, and he was member of the White Oak Springs Baptist Church for over twenty years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Ernest Pruett and Wayne Lamar Pruett; sister, Nancy Ann Pruett Teal. He is survived by his wife, Penny Campbell Pruett of Waco; daughter and son-in-law, DeAnne and Jayson Kerrigan of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon M. Pruett and Jessica Nelson-Pruett of Taylorsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Claudia Pruett of Centre, AL, Douglas and Connie Pruett of Dallas, David and Lisa Pruett of Temple; sisters-in-law, Jane Pruett of Douglasville, Brenda S. Pruett of Washington, IL; brother-in-law, Dennis Lee Teal of Cedartown; three grandchildren, Raynee Julianne Pruett of Dallas, Layla Caroline Pruett of Dallas, and Jackson Thomas Pruett of Dallas. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Bro. Wayne Morris, Bro. Jerry Hollis and Bro.
