Max Schram

Mr. Max Frederick Schram, age 67 of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He was born October 30, 1951, the son of the late Mr. Frederick Schram and Mrs. Dorothy Remyeski Schram. He had a Michigan State University Master’s Degree in Education. He was a lifetime educator, and taught most recently in the City of Bay View, Wisconsin. He was nationally recognized for historical tinsmithing and reenacting. He was a member of Harley-Davidson of Atlanta. Mr. Schram was “Father Christmas!” and he loved sharing the true meaning of Christmas all year long. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Fredrick Schram. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Eggert Schram of Douglasville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Zachary Butler of Acworth, GA; son, Jeremy Schram of Athens, GA; brother, James Schram of Livonia, MI; two grandchildren, Madeline and Katherine Butler; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.In accordance with Mr. Schram’s wishes, he was cremated.Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
