Melissa Prather

Ms. Melissa Ann Burt Prather, age 37, of Winston, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born October 30, 1974 in Marietta, Georgia the daughter of Shirley Howard Cordray and the late Mr. Randall Clay Burt, Sr. She worked as a Route Coordinator for Crystal Springs. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Justin Ryan Prather. She is survived by one son, Bryan Cody Prather of Winston; her mother and stepfather, Shirley and Wayne Cordray of Winston; brother, Randall Clay Burt, Jr.; nieces, Autumn Cheyenne Burt, Trinity Nicole Acklin and Tracey Shirey. According to her wishes, her body was cremated. A Memorial Service will be planned by the family at a later date. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
