Mrs. Mercie Dee Defnall Tyson, age 64, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born July 14, 1942 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Eugene Defnall and the late Mrs. Ina Lou Smith Defnall. She was of the Baptist Faith and had worked on the production line for Sterling Engineering. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Kelly Tyson of Lithia Springs; three sisters and brother-in-law, Doris Simpson of Dallas, Linda and James Mezick of Douglasville, and Cathy Thomas of Douglasville; two brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Annette Defnall of Douglasville and Gary Defnall of Alabama; 2 grandchildren, Kristopher âBrandonâ Tyson and Casey Loggins; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Ikey Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with the following serving as pallbearers: Allen Defnall, David Defnall, Jeff Mezick, Cleon Simpson, Jimmy Brock, Casey Loggins, Scott Thomas, Wayne Thomas, Charles Defnall, and Justin Mezick.
