Merle Gerstner

Mrs. Merle Amblee Gerstner, age 92, formerly of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was born October 10, 1923 in Spur, Texas, the daughter of the late George and Audrey Harvey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Gerstner of Houston, Texas, and grandsons Jason Knight of Tampa, Florida and Arthur Condra of Houston, Texas. She is survived by her sons Joe H. Gerstner of Houston, Texas, William M. Gerstner and wife Connie of Houston, Texas; daughters, Donna G. Knight and husband Bill of Samara, Costa Rica, Cyndi Sheetz and husband David of Bayfield, Colorado; granddaughter, Jenna Fortner and husband Chris of Villa Rica, Georgia; 6 great-grandchildren Ryann, Isabel, and Chase Fortner of Villa Rica, Georgia and Jaelen, Baker and Bryce Knight of St. Petersburg, Florida.
