Michael Akers

Mr. Michael Joseph Akers, age 59, of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He was born January 24, 1954 in Carrollton the son of the late Mr. Joseph Clinton Akers and the late Mrs. Helen Juanita Morrow Akers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, William Daniel Akers and grandson, Michael Daniel Akers. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bentley Akers; sons, Jason Allen Akers and Shane Christopher Akers; sisters, Sharon Akers Hunt; brother, Mark Bass; five grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM from 123 Carroll Circle Apt. A., Carrollton, Georgia 30117.
