Michael Glenn Edwards, 67, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. He was born on April 28, 1958, the son of the late Ward Franklin Edwards and the late Jeanette Marie Hunt Edwards.

Michael leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and unwavering commitment as a devoted Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Michael embodied the spirit of service and loyalty throughout his life. He was a man of many passions, with a deep love for motorcycles, music, and the great outdoors. An avid Harley collector, he found joy in the freedom of the open road, often sharing the thrill of riding with fellow enthusiasts. Michael’s exuberance for life extended to his musical talent, where he enjoyed playing Marshall Tucker Band for everyone.

Known for his heart of gold, Michael dedicated himself to helping those around him. His kindness and generosity were constants in his character, as he always sought to lift others up with his infectious spirit. A true friend, he was known for giving everyone a unique nickname, a gesture that showcased his thoughtfulness and ability to make every individual feel special and valued.

Michael was a man who was funny, strong-willed, and a fighter. He possessed qualities of devotion, loyalty, and trustworthiness that touched the lives of many. His positive impact on friends and family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert “Bobby” Timothy Edwards and sister, Theresa Edwards.

He is survived by his loving wife Melinda Beasley Edwards; sons, Robert Edwards, and Stephen (Amanda) Edwards; sisters, Debra Nichols, Sandra “Sandy” Hanson, and Lisa Zdyb; brother, Pete Edwards; five grandchildren, Adrian “Scooter”, Chandler “Chan Chan”, Kyrie, Kameron, and Noah “No-No”, and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.

Michael’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him and we will all reflect on the beautiful moments shared, the laughter generated, and the love he spread so freely.
