Michael Leonard McVey

Mr. Michael Leonard McVey, 30, of Heflin, Alabama, formerly of Bremen, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 14, 2006. He was born December 9, 1975 in Cobb County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Elby Leonard McVey and Mrs. Irene LaVon Marek McVey. Mr. McVey was of the Christian faith. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. Mr. McVey enjoyed fishing, swimming and the outdoors. Survivors include his daughters, Angel Grace McVey and Christian Rose McVey, both of Carrollton; his mother, Irene LaVon Marek McVey; his sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Donnie Dowis of Temple; his brother and sister-in-law, Wayland Eugene and Tammy Marek of Graham, Alabama; and nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Pastor Tom Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Christian Cemetery in Temple, Georgia.
