Michael "Mike" Andrew Dickinson

Mr. Michael "Mike" Andrew Dickinson, age 72 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021. He was born May 25, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Walter Ennis Dickinson and the late Mrs. Katherine Kelly Dickinson. Mr. Dickinson proudly served our country as a United States Army Veteran. He was a native of Douglas County who also owned a lawn care and deer processing company. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Mr. Dickinson was of the Christian Faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother-in-law, Richard Kirk of Lithia Springs Mr. Dickinson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Braun Dickinson of Douglasville, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah Dickinson and Steve Layton of Lithia Springs, Georgia; Kathy Dickinson of Collins, Georgia, Regina Dickinson of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Brenda Dickinson Kirk of Lithia Springs; twelve nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM from First Baptist Church of Douglasville. He will lie-in-state at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
