Michael Rego

Mr. Michael Joseph Rego, age 78, of Villa Rica, passed away, Friday, August 11, 2017. He was born June 3, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Mr. Nicholas Rego and the late Mrs. Jennie Tirendi Rego. Mr. Rego served in the United States Army in Germany. He worked for Braceland Brothers for 30 plus years as plant manager in both Philadelphia and Atlanta. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed the lake, gardening, and loved his Italian Heritage. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tom Rego; brother, Lewis Rego; sister, Jackie Boniscavage. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Kanouse Rego of Villa Rica; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Ann Rego of Summerdale, NJ, Nicholas and Christy Rego of Villa Rica; special son, Bill Logan of Atlanta; sister, Frances “Frannie” Cravero of Lafayette, PA; seven grandchildren, Elli Rego, Mickey Rego, Ethan Rego, Matthew Rego, Wil Rego, Isabella Rego, and Ava Rego; one great-grandson, Wesley Rego and twin brothers expected. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Chaplain Sam Braswell officiating.
