Michael Venable Sewell

Michael Venable Sewell, age 70, of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025. He was born in Douglasville, GA on January 5, 1955 to the late David Eugene (Gene) Sewell and the late Ann Leathers Sewell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Sewell and Brian Sewell.

Michael attended Douglas County High School. He attended trade school in North Georgia where he learned furniture/wood working skills. He also worked in the home medical equipment field for many years. He loved helping and sharing with the older generation.

Michael is survived by his brothers Greig (Donna) Sewell, Alan (Linda) Sewell of Douglasville, and sister Gina (Bill) Kagle of Lithia Springs.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, GA with a private family service burial at Sunrise Gardens of Memories in Douglasville, GA.
