Mr. Michael âTinyâ Warren Johnston, age 53, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012. He was born October 11, 1958 in Douglas County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Warren âJuniorâ Johnston and the late Mrs. Cora Estelle Henslee Johnston. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Douglasville. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Douglas County. He was an active volunteer for the Toys for Tots program. He provided fresh produce for family, friends, and the community for many years. Tiny was a people person who never met a stranger and loved everyone. He is survived by his wife, Debra Agan Johnston of Douglasville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Stephen and Jennifer Ashley Johnston of Temple; and Brandon Keith Johnston of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Angela Johnston of Douglasville; uncle and aunt, Larry and Bessie Henslee of Winston; parents-in-law, Charles and Lillie Mae Agan of Winston; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wanda and Wayne Copeland of Dallas, Randall and Christine Agan of Temple, and Donna and Tim Williams of Villa Rica; six grandchildren, Jacob Johnston of Temple, Dalton Johnston of Carrollton, Joshua Johnston of Temple, Jared Johnston of Temple, Azaleigh Johnston of Carrollton, Emma Johnston of Temple; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Johnny White officiating and Captain Eddie Daniel providing the eulogy. Musical selections will be provided by Mr. Randall Agan. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery in Douglasville.
