Michael W. Smith

Mr. Michael Wynan Smith, age 58 of Villa Rica, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at his residence. A native of Villa Rica, he was born February 29, 1952 the son of the late Mr. Harold W. Smith and Mrs. Donna J. Harris Smith. He was the owner of the Villa Rica Kawasaki Shop and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents his was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Vance “Hal” Smith. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Sue Smith of Villa Rica; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Joey Fernander of Temple; son, Michael W. Smith, Jr. of Villa Rica; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Rev. James Smith of Villa Rica; three grandchildren, Jessica Tims, Elizabeth Smith and Austin Ballard. Funeral Service will be conducted, Friday, June 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. James Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Gardens. The following will be serving as pallbearers, Mike Smith, Jr., Joey Fernander, Shane Smith, Wendell Furr, Keith Pilgrim, Pete Pilgrim. Kip Pilgrim will serve as Honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
