Mildred Arnold

Mrs. Mildred Hope Arnold, 91, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015. She was born November 12, 1924 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Mr. Ben Cushman and the late Mrs. El Mina Morgan Peacock. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was devoted to her family and was lovingly called “Granny”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee Arnold; and daughter, Carolyn K. Bedgood. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Leach of Douglasville; two sisters, Birdie Montgomery of Memphis, TN and June Raggett of Seal Beach, CA; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM at College Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Grieme officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Leach, Scott Leach, Brian Leach, Chris Bedgood, Greg Bedgood, and Billy Sandberg. Messages of condolences to the family may be sent at www.jones-wynn.com.
