Mildred Thomas Miller Mrs. Mildred Thomas Miller, age 89, of Douglasville passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012. She was born September 15, 1922 in Houston, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Mert Thomas and the late Mrs. Connie Hudson Thomas. She was a homemaker living most of her life in Atlanta and the surrounding Atlanta areas. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Blane Miller and granddaughter, Kimberly Miller. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Glenda and Bob Kikta of Greensboro, Kenneth and Carol Miller of McDonough, Brenda Abney of Douglasville and Sheila and Jack Clement of Villa Rica, sisters, Frances Knowles and Lucille Walker; grandchildren, Dr. William Scott Walters, Gina King, Shelly Walters, Lisa Miller James, Steven Miller, Andrea Crook, Kristin Abney, and Jessie Abney; great grandchildren, Hannah Walters, Jake Walters, Faith Walters, Abbigail Crook , Madison Miller and Alice Crook, nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Entrekin officiating.
