Mrs. Mildred Opal Nolan Wright, 77, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2006. She was born May 12, 1928 in Pioneer, Tennessee the daughter of the late Mr. William Nolan and the late Mrs. Elvira Rister Nolan. She married Ray Wright on May 7, 1949 in Kentucky. She was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a Motel Manager. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Rev. Ray Wright; her sisters, Shirley Russell, Edna Saller, and Louise Pennington; brothers, Joseph Nolan, Alfred Nolan, Oscar Nolan, and Willard Nolan. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Salyers of Huntington, West Virginia; two sons, McKinley “Mac” Wright of Douglasville and Gary Wright of Greenup, Kentucky; special nieces, Patty Moore of Norfolk, VA and Sherrie Embau; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 2:30 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Bice officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Saturday, April 8, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
