Minnie Sutton

Mrs. Minnie “Geraldine” Sutton, age 78, of Lithia Springs, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2013. She was born March 24, 1935 in Doraville. Before becoming a full time mom, she worked the soda fountain at Wyatt’s Pharmacy. In her later years, she followed in her fathers’ footsteps making friends and selling pecan pies at the flea market in Lithia Springs. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Williams. She is survived by her husband, William O. Sutton of Lithia Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Sutton and Alyssa Getzoff of Tampa, FL.; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Hubert Jordan of Suwanee; brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Rita Williams of Woodstock. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 12:30 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville.
