Morgan James Turner, Jr.

Morgan James Turner, Jr., 78, of Villa Rica, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023.  He was born on December 26, 1944.  He is the son of the late Morgan James Turner and the late Edna Lucielle Hines.

Morgan was a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed playing trivia, sports and the outdoors. He was a firefighter for the city of Dayton, the city of Atlanta and retired from Fulton County Fire Department.

Mr. Turner leaves behind his loving wife, Linda Diane Jackson; son and daughter-in-law Travis and Michelle Turner of Hogansville; daughter and son-in-law Jennie and Scott Bragg of Villa Rica;  brother, Rocky Turner of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Mitchell Bragg and Archer Turner.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
