Mr. Morris Thomas Wilson, 73, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was born January 11, 1934 in Fulton County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Albert Cicero Wilson and the late Mrs. Beatrice Post Wilson. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He married Clara Harrison on June 2, 1956 in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Mr. Wilson was a member of Sunset Hills Baptist Church. He owned and operated Highway 78 Body Shop in Lithia Springs since 1962. Mr. Wilson was a loving husband, father, and Papa. He was a fun loving man who loved to laugh and enjoyed his time spent with his family. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Stephanie McMillan. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Clara Harrison Wilson of Lithia Springs; five children and their spouses, Elaine and Chris Layton of Douglasville, Annette and Lee Whaley of Lithia Springs, Tommy and Rhonda Wilson of Douglasville, Matthew and Lisa Wilson of Douglasville, and Wesley and RaDonna Wilson of Douglasville; 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Stanley Deal of Lithia Springs; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilburn and Shirley Wilson of Winston, Guy and June Wilson of Douglasville, Dennis and Sandi Wilson of Douglasville, Billy Wayne and Marie Wilson of Lithia Springs, and Randall and Ann Wilson of Lithia Springs; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 2:00 PM from Sunset Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Williams, Rev. Ikey Watson, and Rev. Ralph Tapley officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, September 24, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
