Mrs. Mossie Marie Landers, age 72, of Temple, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia. Mrs. Landers was born March 22, 1936 in Coal Creek, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Mr. Andrew Bratcher and the late Mrs. Rachel Lawson Bratcher. She was a homemaker, loving mother and adoring grandmother. Mrs. Landers was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Landers was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Bobby McCarty and her second husband, Mr. Bob Landers and her daughter, Penny Diane Dabney Hulsey. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Peggy and Scott McKenzie of Temple and Valerie Dabney of Temple; her son, Benny Dabney of Temple; her brother, Paul Bratcher of Hudson, Florida; her grandson and his wife, Jamie and Tasha Hulsey; great grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Megan, Jaden and Andrew; a special family friend and guardian angel to Mossie Landers, Clayton Betts and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, November 21, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Tony Gordon officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Smith, Andy Cosby, Gary Cosby, Chuck Prater, Danny Hulsey and Johnny Hulsey. Interment will follow at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
