Mr. Frank A. Davis, Jr.

Mr. Frank A. Davis, Jr. , age 64, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born March 26, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Frank A. Davis, Sr. and the late Mrs. Elsie Corinne Buckner Davis. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Douglasville. He was very active in the Royal Ambassadors “RAs” and served as the Director. He worked as an automobile wholesaler. He was lovingly called “Dado”. He was devoted to his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Susan Shivers Davis of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Matt Furniss of Douglasville; sons and daughters-in-law, Frank, III and Susan Davis of Douglasville and Keith and Jessica Davis of Douglasville; stepdaughter, Anna Jo Jones of Valdosta; sister, Debbie Davis of Seminole, FL; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM from Central Baptist Church in Douglasville with Dr. Garry Eudy, Rev. Charles Gibbs, and Rev. Ronnie Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Central Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
