Mr. Lee Anthony

Mr. Lee Anthony, 82, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Heartland Hospice in Austell. He was born February 27, 1925 in Danielsville, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Robert L. Anthony and the late Mrs. Pearl Pierce Anthony. He married Lovella Ruth Bearden on April 15, 1947 in Dallas, Georgia. He retired from ESB Battery Company after many years of service. Mr. Anthony attended New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Lee Anthony; sisters, Jessie Pate, Lucille Sims and Ruth Jamison and brothers, Robert Anthony, Feldon Anthony and Frank Anthony. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Lovella Ruth Bearden Anthony of Douglasville; daughter-in-law, Pat Anthony of Gainesville; one sister, Dorothy Cooper of Rivers, GA; one brother, Hoke Anthony of Alabama; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, November 26, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Shirley officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Sunday, November 25, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
