Mr. Lee R. Jones

Mr. Lee R. Jones, age 71, of Sleepy Hollow Trail, Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1935 in Athens, Tennessee the son of the late Mr. Roy Jones and the late Mrs. Annie Wright Jones. He was a member of Spring Creek Methodist Church in Riceville, TN. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Technical Sergeant having served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Sadie Marie Bryce Jones on November 4, 2005. He is survived by one daughter, Leeia Graham of Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Jeanine Roberts of Bremen; two sisters, Mae Lewis of Houston, TX and Catherine Johnson of Reno, NV; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services for Mr. Lee R. Jones will be conducted Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Minister Dave Lewis officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Mr. Scott Williams. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica in the Jones Family Mausoleum.
