Mr. Marty Alan Echols

Mr. Marty Alan Echols, 46, of Winston, Georgia passed away Monday, July 25, 2005 at his residence. He was born October 26, 1958 in Douglas County, Georgia to Mr. Johnny I. Echols and Mrs. Pat Ward Echols. He was a native of Douglas County and graduated from Douglas County High School in 1976. On October 1, 1976 he was in an automobile accident. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Echols is survived by his parents, Johnny and Pat Echols of Winston; one brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Phyllis Echols of Winston; nieces, Lindsey Echols and Anna Echols; nephew Corey Echols and his wife, Sheena; great nephew, Colton Alan Echols; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel in Douglasville with Rev. Ben Turner and Rev. Snyder Turner officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers: Randy Ward, David Hunter, David Echols, Tim Ward, Steve House, Johnny White and Kevin Cheek. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery in Winston, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel.
