Mr. Robert Conley Riggs

Mr. Robert Conley Riggs, age 83, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away October 17, 2006 at WellStar Douglas Hospital. He was born June 30, 1923 in Temple, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Jack Riggs and the late Mrs. Odessa Wynn Riggs. He married LaTrelle Bowen, formerly of Cleveland, Georgia on September 15, 1966. He was of the Baptist Faith. He worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid gardener, hunter and he loved horses. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Kramer Griffin. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. LaTrelle Bowen Riggs of Powder Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law Phillip and Susan Dockery and Benji and Latrecia Dockery of Powder Springs; two sisters Nell Griffin and Jackie Heid of Texas; one brother and sister-in-law Fred and Ruth Riggs of Villa Rica; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 1:00 PM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel. Messages of condolences may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com.
