Mr. Samuel William LeVar, 59, of Mt. Zion Road, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at his residence. He was born December 10, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Samuel Wellington LeVar and the late Mrs. Mary E. McCollum Smith. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church and was an electrician for Wolf Camera specializing in electronic repair. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Carver LeVar and his step-father, Henry G. Smith. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Craig Paulson of Billings, MT and Valeria and Gene Keene of Douglasville; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda Faye and Charles Lipscomb of Bremen; one brother, Marvin LeVar of Douglasville; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Mack Lively officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Thursday, July 21, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
