Mr. Seales L. Garner, 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at his residence. He was born October 29, 1927 in Polk County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Clarence Garner and the late Mrs. Dela V Morris Garner. He was of the Baptist Faith. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Juanita Hughes on April 5, 1947 in Dallas, Georgia. He worked as a Service Manager at Great Dane Trailers for 42 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Juanita H. Garner of Douglasville; two daughters and sons-in-law, June and Kenneth Baker of Douglasville and Darlene and David Landrum of Woodstock; one son and daughter-in-law, Seales L. âSteveâ Garner, Jr. and Debbie Garner of Woodstock; one sister, Sarah Swales of Panama City Beach, FL; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Ruby Garner of Temple and Morris and Martha Garner of Clewiston, FL; 7 grandchildren, Scott Gunnell, Nicole Garner, Amanda Landrum, Savannah Landrum, Torrie Garner, Bryan Hill, and Melissa Hill; 2 great-grandchildren, Kora Gunnell and Jackson Gunnell; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Stanford officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Cathy Landrum and Leslie Dickinson. Interment will follow at River View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday, January 26, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
