Mrs. Annie Inez Wright Messel

Mrs. Annie Inez Wright Messel, 69, of S. Villa Road, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 18, 2006 at VistaCare Hospice Center at Wesley Woods in Atlanta. She was born January 23, 1937 in Rock Mill, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. Rufus Monroe Wright and the late Mrs. Nellie Florence Shepherd Wright. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton and she served as a Third Order St. Franciscan Assisi Nun. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents Mrs. Messel was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Sheppard; grandchildren, David Eugene Sheppard and Monica Lynn Sheppard and an infant brother. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Lee Messel of Villa Rica; four daughters, Pamela Jane Evans of Villa Rica, Sherri Ann Davis of Villa Rica, Monica Muse of Carrollton and Jeane Toadvine of Miamisburg, OH; three sons, Michael Ray Messel of Villa Rica, Christopher Steven Messel of Villa Rica and Kenneth Ray Messel of East Liverpool, OH; one sister, Dianne Duke of Bremen; one brother, Don Wright of Villa Rica; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 1:00 PM from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton with Father Paul Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Nick Crawford, Chris Messel, Sr., Chris Messel, Jr., Wesley Wright, Sr., Wesley Wright, Jr., and Scott Bishop.
